On 29 February 2024, the House of Representatives approved the government’s bill for the abolition of the annual fee of €350 for all registered companies in the Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property. The levy had been in effect from 2011 until 2023.
This move evidently, been part of broader economic measures, will further boost the strategic economic advantages of businesses opting to invest in or through Cyprus.
